Hi Everyone,

Here is a very short article from Vanguard showing returns over time (91 years) of owning stocks and bonds and a whole bunch of combinations. It starts with 100% bonds/0% Stocks and works it’s way all the way up to 100% stocks/0% bonds.

I personally am a 100% stocks kind of guy, but I do have some cash in my checking account and a small emergency fund in a High-Interest Savings Account (HISA). All accounted for I should still be above 95% stocks. However, I have no major purchases on the horizon and I do not need any of the money that I have tied up in stocks inside of 5 years.
